Test

To test Access My Health Record system, Upload to My Health Record system and Assisted Registration, you must complete all the steps in this section.

PCEHR means the My Health Record, formerly the "Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record", within the meaning of the My Health Records Act 2012 (Cth), formerly called the Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records Act 2012 (Cth).

By operation of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Establishing the Australian Digital Health Agency) Rule 2016, on 1 July 2016, all the assets and liabilities of NEHTA will vest in the Australian Digital Health Agency. In this website, on and from 1 July 2016, all references to "National E-Health Transition Authority" or "NEHTA" will be deemed to be references to the Australian Digital Health Agency.

Prepare for product testing

Test your product using the Notice of Connection (NOC) and Conformance test cases.

The National Infrastructure Operator’s (NIO) Software Vendor Test (SVT) Team provides technical support for NOC testing. The Agency provides technical support for product design, development and conformance testing.

Please email MyHealthRecord.SVT@accenture.com to request the following forms and submit them upon completion:

  • NOC Vendor Test Request
  • My Health Record system NOC Test Cases for Vendor Client self-assessment

Complete formal NOC testing

Once you have completed your own NOC testing, you can request formal NOC testing with NIO (SVT) by completing the following forms, and emailing them to MyHealthRecord.SVT@accenture.com.

Complete formal Conformance testing

Conduct in-house conformance testing based on the Agency technical specifications, usability recommendations, testing materials and testing tools including the Clinical Package Validator.

You will need to keep the history of completed test cases and results for reference when completing the My Health Record system Conformance Vendor Declaration form.

Once Notice of Connection (NOC) and Conformance testing is finalised, you must complete the My Health Record system Conformance Vendor Declaration form and send it to the My Health Record System Operator at myhealthrecord.operations@digitalhealth.gov.au.

Receive confirmation about My Health Record system production system access

The My Health Record System Operator updates your primary and secondary contact details based on your My Health Record Conformance Vendor Declaration form (found in your My Health Record Welcome Pack). You will then be issued with a My Health Record system production access letter. The System Operator may request testing evidence before issuing the production access letter. After a production access letter is issued the System Operator will arrange for the software to have access to the My Health Record production system.

Product added to registers

If you have elected to do so, your product will be added to the Register of Conformity

Participate in quality assurance process

The My Health Record System Operator may ask you to participate in a quality assurance process to ensure My Health Record system data is maintained to high integrity.
